It's funny. I hear so many people say "I'm only allowed 12 visits under my extended medical". "ALLOWED?" Who is the one that's responsible for your health? An insurance company?
In other words, I'm only going to look after my spine if someone else pays for it. I have to fight myself not to judge them when I see how much money they put into their cars, shopping, vacations, their cigarettes and alcohol, all of which are things that in my judgmental opinion, they don't really NEED. Which there is no insurance plan for. Again, this is part of my growth to sit back and not be judgmental. I struggle with this one every day.

You hit it right on the head there. You keep your spine maintained because it helps you fulfill that which is important to you--- your running.

We would be a much healthier society if we could see that keeping our health on track is PIVOTAL in fulfilling our priorities-- work, making money, spending time with family, recreation and relaxation, sports, being active, trips, holidays, and retirement, even being of service to your church or religion. All these things are IMPOSSIBLE without your spinal and overall health.

Nima!

That was so very honest, loved it! I do not care that I am already over my allotted amount that is covered on my health care plan because it helps me get to my next goal faster (fingers crossed for the marathon in the summer!). If I could see you every day, I would. I know the worth and for you to share that with all of your patients is fantastic! Thanks for sharing!
