Stressbusters Workshop – Coping With Anxiety
Symptoms of “General Anxiety Disorder”
A. Excessive anxiety and worry (apprehensive expectation), occurring more-days-than-not for at least 6 months, about a number of events or activities (such as work or school performance).
B. The person finds it difficult to control the worry.
C. The anxiety and worry are associated with three (or more) of the following six symptoms (with at least some symptoms present for more-days-than-not for the past 6 months).
- restlessness or feeling keyed up or on edge
- being easily fatigued
- difficulty concentrating or mind going blank
- irritability
- muscle tension
- sleep disturbance (difficulty falling or staying asleep, or restless unsatisfying sleep)

Despite the fact that these symptoms are a common part of the human experience, if you go to your General Practitioner with these symptoms, chances are, you will walk out with a prescription in your hand.
Just because you have these symptoms, doesn’t mean you have to live in a self-imposed prison anymore. You don’t have to run away and hide from your symptoms anymore, either.
This workshop is designed to give you tools to understand where your anxiety comes from, teach you how common it is, and learn breakthrough tools to find emotional freedom again.
When: Saturday July 23rd, 1-4pm
Westgate Wellness Centre
